Jenny Farhat is a Photographer, Filmmaker, and Art Director. With over a decade of agency experience, Jenny has crafted narratives through art direction, production, photography, and branded media initiatives. Her passion lies in creating media with intention, stories that stir thought, spark change, and leave a lasting imprint. Bridging creativity and logic, she thrives in the space where artistic vision meets analytical depth.
Driven by a profound passion for exploring diverse cultures, Jenny has dedicated her filmmaking to spotlighting the underrepresented and challenging prevailing narratives. Her work is deeply rooted in advocating human rights and promoting cultural preservation.
In 2020, Jenny joined forces with the all-female production company, Honeypot Productions to produce a riveting mini-short doc, We Do Not Live Here. Inspired by firsthand experiences at the Migrant Caravan in Tijuana, the documentary resonated with audiences and was prominently featured in Rolling Stone Magazine.
In her recent documentary, Seeking Asylum, she delves into the harrowing journey of asylum-seekers in the U.S. This award-winning feature captures the myriad obstacles migrants confront when pleading for asylum, emphasizing that reaching the U.S. is just the beginning of their journey. Set against the backdrop of one of our nation's most turbulent periods, Seeking Asylum sheds light on the indispensable essence of asylum as a cornerstone of the American Dream.
