Take Action Now

Letters for Gaza is a campaign led by American Friends of Combatants for Peace, in partnership with The Friends Committee on National Legislation, Sisterhood of Salaam Shalom, and The Telos Group.

Handwritten letters move members of Congress in ways mass emails don't. That's why we're asking you to take one simple but powerful action: Pledge to write one handwritten letter to your member of Congressand ask a friend to do the same.

In Gaza, the situation is beyond urgent as so many precious lives are wiped from the earth. According to Gaza’s health authorities, more than 16,000 children have been killed since October 7th. That’s one child every 40 minutes. Children are dying not just from bombs, but from dehydration and hunger.

The UN says 500 trucks of aid are needed DAILY to meet basic needs. Without urgent action, thousands of Palestinians and the remaining hostages could die from forced starvation, lack of aid, and ongoing strikes. This is not just a humanitarian crisis—it’s a moral one.

Peace is not passive. We must reject the war machine that thrives by dividing Israelis, Palestinians, and people around the world. There isn’t a moment to lose. The world needs you to speak up right now.

Let this be the moment we turn heartbreak into action.
Let this be the moment that enough of us rise to end the relentless slaughter of irreplaceable human lives.
Let us take action to build a future where all are safe and free.
